About the Board

• The  Chesapeake Bay Board is responsible for ensuring that Resource Protection Areas are developed in a manner consistent with the regulations through the review and approval of exceptions requests.
• Members are appointed by the Board of Supervisors for five-year terms. Its members also serve on the Wetlands Board.

Complete applications, including Water Quality Impact Assessment, mitigation plan, and Board fee, must be received by the application deadline found in the table below.
