On October 30, the Board of Supervisors, County staff, and representatives from State agencies met to discuss agricultural application of industrial sludge and biosolids within the County. Background and regulatory information was provided to citizens about the practice, as well as an opportunity for citizen engagement.
At that same meeting, County staff and officials told citizens they would obtain additional data concerning the WGro-R WestRock product (industrial residuals) for citizen review. This includes the original study data as well as the required annual registration renewal data to date.
