New Kent County to hold Redistricting Community MeetingEvery 10 years localities which elect governing bodies by district, like New Kent County, must redistrict to account for population and demographic shifts. This requires the use of federal census and redistricting data.
We want to hear from you about our proposed redistricting plans at a community meeting on Thursday, December 9, at 6:30 p.m., held in the Boardroom of the County Administration Building.
If you are unable attend the meeting or you would like to view the proposed plan maps and goals, please visit our Redistricting page. The online submittal form is at the bottom of the webpage.

Chickahominy Pipeline hosting virtual open houseChickahominy Pipeline will host its virtual Open House Thursday, December 9, at 6:30 p.m. You can join the meeting once it is "live" on Thursday. Chickahominy Pipeline is asking those interested to submit questions through this email or the website prior to the event, so they can look for duplicate questions/issues and can address the areas of highest interest first. Attendees will still be able to submit questions the day of and during the event, but submitting in advance should make the Open House more efficient and cut down on duplicate questions. Questions can be submitted anonymously and will be encouraged even after the virtual Open House, so landowners and stakeholders should feel free to reach out to Chickahominy Pipeline for more information.
