Local COVID-19 testing opportunities

Chickahominy Health District (CHD) began small-scale testing this week (by appointment only; no walk-ups) at their local health departments. The first date in New Kent County will be Wednesday, January 26. These will be car-side (outdoors) - not "at home tests."
Information on testing resources in the area and how to request an appointment are on the CHD homepage: vdh.virginia.gov/chickahominy (under COVID TESTING RESOURCES).

Community members can request an appointment at their local health departments using the survey link on CHD's homepage or by contacting their call center at 804-365-3240. They will be prioritizing uninsured/underinsured residents who are exposed or symptomatic.

In addition, the Richmond Raceway is open for free COVID PCR testing as a community testing center (CTC). The Richmond Raceway CTC is operated by appointment only; members of our community can find an appointment by visiting the VASE+ testing appointment scheduling system. Put in a NKC zip code and search for 50 miles for the location to show up.
