Rabies clinic is tomorrow

New Kent Sheriff's Office Animal Control will be holding their annual rabies clinic this Saturday, March 26, 2022, from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. This event was rescheduled from Saturday, January 29, 2022 due to inclement weather. The clinic will take place in the New Kent County Courthouse parking lot located at 12001 Courthouse Circle, New Kent, VA 23124. The cost is $10.00 per vaccination. Traffic advisory for Route 155 drivers

Heads up, New Kent County drivers! Expect traffic impacts from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m,. Monday through Friday, starting this week on Courthouse Road (Route 155) for paving. The project is expected to be completed in October.

Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) alternating lane closures and flagging operations will be in place.

Board of Supervisors to meet on Wednesday at work session

The New Kent County Board of Supervisors will meet for a work session on Wednesday, March 30, 2022 at 9 a.m. The meeting will take place in the Boardroom of the New Kent County Administration Building (12007 Courthouse Circle, New Kent). A Rappahannock Community College presentation, a refuse and recycling presentation, the Borrego Solar Facility Presentation and other items are on the agenda for Wednesday.
