Join us for A One In A Melon Farmers Market tomorrow

Come out between 9 a.m. and 12 p.m. for a fun-filled family farmers market on Saturday, August 20 at the New Kent Farmers Market pavilion (7589 New Kent Hwy., New Kent). New Kent Virginia Cooperative Extension, New Kent Parks & Recreation, Heritage Public Library and New Kent County will be there with fun activities and items for the young and young-at-heart. Our service this week is Senior Connections and they join 15+ other vendors all with fresh, local, unique produce and products.

August is the perfect time to visit your local farmers market with fresh melons, tomatoes, peppers, corn and other fruits and vegetables in season. You can also find local beef, chicken, pork, eggs, coffee, honey, baked goods, flower bouquets, lotions, soaps, and scrubs, dog treats, pickles, salsas, sauces, jams, juices, and plants in addition to home decor.

And we almost forgot our favorite part - food prepared right on the spot from Wrapperz D-Lite food truck and Uncle Dave's Kettle Korn!
