Utility bills due at the end of monthUtility bills have been mailed. Per County Code, bills are due 30 days after the date of the bill. Late fees are added to all unpaid accounts after the due date. Utility accounts more than 90 days past due are subject to termination. Payments should be made to the Treasurer’s Office or via their payment website http://va-newkentcounty.civicplus.com/344/Treasurers-Office. If you do not receive your bill by September 10th, or if you have questions about your utility account, please contact the New Kent Department of Public Utilities at 804-966-9676. Special Notes: Bank & other third party bill pay services still have to mail a check, processing & delivery times may be a week or longer. If you are paying with a credit card be sure you are paying through the official Treasurer’s website (above), not a third party bill pay service.
