Don't Trash New Kent & Central VA

Did you know nearly $3.5 million taxpayer dollars are spent each year to clean up litter on Virginia's roadways? More than half of roadway litter comes from motorist and another 25% is from pedestrians.

Join us at the District 5 Town Hall Meeting for a broadband update

Pursuant to our Broadband Agreement, Cox Communications will provide updates on their construction progress to date throughout the duration of the expansion project.

The Cox Communications team continues to make progress in the Talleysville and Barhamsville areas. Board of Supervisors Representative for District 5, John Lockwood, is hosting an upcoming town hall meeting where an update on broadband expansion in the County will be presented by Cox Communications representatives. The meeting will be held Thursday, April 13, 6 p.m. at Liberty Baptist Church (15810 Liberty Baptist Church Rd., Lanexa).

New Kent Board of Supervisors to meet Monday evening

The New Kent County Board of Supervisors will meet for its regular business meeting next week - Monday, April 10, 2023 at 6 p.m. The business meeting will take place in the New Kent County Administration Building (12007 Courthouse Circle, New Kent). The Board will conduct public hearings on a request for an exception to the commercial sign requirements of the Farms Of New Kent PUD Ordinance, the Proposed General Government Budget and the Public Utilities Budget for Fiscal Year 2024, tax levies for Fiscal Year 2024, and proposed amendments to Appendix A - Fees of the County Code.
